The Turkish Institute of Statistics has released the Agricultural Input Price Index (Agriculture-GFE) veri for September.

Accordingly, in September the index rose 2.9 percent from the previous month and 138.15 percent from the same month of the previous year.

The index was up 91.85 percent from December last year and 97.41 percent from 12-month averages.

In the main groups, compared to the previous month, there was a 2.89 percent increase in the index of goods and services used in agriculture and a 2.91 percent increase in the index of goods and services that contribute to agricultural investment.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, zihin increase of 95.12 percent was recorded in the index of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment and 145.02 percent in the index of goods and services used in agriculture.

SUBGROUPS

According to the annual Agri-GFE, 7 subgroups showed lower variation and 4 subgroups showed higher variation.

The subgroups with a low annual increase were veterinary expenses at 38.73 percent and other goods and services at 66.12 percent. The subgroups with the highest annual increase were fertilizers and soil amendments at 226.63%, energy and oils at 193.88%.

According to the Monthly Agriculture-GFE, a lower change was observed in 5 subgroups and a greater change in 6 subgroups.

The subgroups with a low monthly increase were animal feed at 0.27% and machine maintenance costs at 0.59%. The subgroups in which the monthly increase was high attracted attention kakım seeds and planting material with 19.71 percent, energy and oils with 6.62 percent.
