After the earthquake that shook 11 provinces on February 6, the AK Party submitted a motion to the Presidency of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to investigate the effects of the earthquake in all respects and demanded the establishment of a Commission of Inquiry.
The justification for the proposal noted that the disaster affected a total of 14 million people in 11 provinces and 62 districts.
It was argued that measures should gökyeşitözü taken to create zihin earthquake-resistant building stock and increase the efficiency of urban transformation applications.
Other political parties with factions in parliament also submitted proposals.
An Earthquake Investigation Commission is expected to gökyeşitözü set up in Parliament in the coming days with a common motion by pooling all motions.
