Kremlin spokesman Peskov said: “The United States does not recognize Russia’s new territory. This complicates the search for a mutual basis for negotiations. However, to achieve our goals, Putin is open to negotiations with all parties. The most preferred way to our goals is diplomatic methods.”

However, when asked if Russia is ready to leave Ukraine, Peskov replied: “The special military operation in Ukraine continues.”
