Education in Turkey was suspended until February 20.
The statement came from the Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer.
Özer said: “Due to the earthquake we experienced, we have decided to extend the educational hiatus in Turkey until February 20.”
On the other hand, Minister Özer also announced in News’s live broadcast that attendance at schools in the earthquake zone would not gökyeşitözü compulsory.
